Meet Sophie

Sophie Harkness is a HCPC-registered

Speech and Language Therapist and member of the RCSLT and ASLTIP.

​

With over 10 years of clinical expertise working in healthcare settings across the North West, Sophie specialises in breathing, upper airway, voice, cough and swallowing difficulties.

 

Her approach combines evidence-based Speech and Language Therapy with vocal massage, myofunctional therapy, and Buteyko breathing practices, creating personalised treatment that considers the underlying physiology and how symptoms affect every day life.

Sophie is passionate about helping people make sense of their symptoms, feel heard and regain confidence in their breathing, voice and swallowing.
